競技ルール(その1)

少し前の記事になっちゃいましたが，ABAさんがわかり易い説明でグライダー競技の説明をしてくれました。変わって「業界人向けに」今回の大会の競技ローカルルール(リンク先のlocal rules)の拙訳を乗せておきます。

下記にも有りますが，競技はGFA(Glider Federation of Australia: 豪グライダー協会）の競技ルールというのにそって行われます。これが大本のルールです。下記に乗せるのは，今回の競技会に関わる補足事項です。

「じゃぁ，大本の読まないとだめじゃん」と思った方。その通りです。

AGREED ISSUE OF RULES

The agreed issue of the rules is the Australian National Gliding Rules published on the GFA website. These local rules provide additional guidance for locally specific conditions. Where there is a conflict the Australian National Gliding Rules will take precedence

協定ルールは，GFAのwebsiteに発行された，Australian National Gliding Rules であるものとする。このローカルルールは，この競技にのみ関係する条 件に対する追加的な指導項目である。Australian National Gliding Rulesと 矛盾がある場合は，Australian National Gliding Rulesが優先される。

Registration

All pilots are required to complete and sign the registration form and pay the entry fee before flying on the 11th December 2010. The Organisers reserve the right to charge an additional amount to each pilot to cover the cost of increased Tug Ferry Charges and any other obligatory charges or levies which may arise from time to time.

HANDICAPS

Handicaps are as for the Club Class competition and published on the GFA and Joeyglide websites. No water ballast is permitted.

Briefings

A compulsory initial briefing and safety briefing for all glider pilots, and crews will be held at Narromine Gliding Club at 0930 hrs on Saturday 11 December 2010. Pilots who miss this meeting must contact the Contest Director or his delegate before taking a launch. Daily briefings thereafter will commence at 1000 hrs unless otherwise advised by notice board.

ブリーフィング

全てのパイロット，及びクルーを対象とした，参加必須の安全ブリーフィングが 12/11(土曜) 2010 の0930からNarromine Gliding Clubにて行われる。このミーティングに参加できないパイロットはコンテスト管理者か，パイロットの委任した者(訳注: 代わりに会議でた人？)と離陸前に連絡を取る必要がある。その後のdailyブリーフィングは，掲示板に他の連絡がある場合を除き，1000から開始する。

A combination of Fixed and Assigned Area Tasking will be used.

TURNPOINT LIST

The turn point list can be downloaded from the Worldwide Turnpoint Exchange website. The turnpoint list being used is the 2010 NSW State Championships list.

旋回点のリストは，Worldwide Turnpoint Exchange websiteでダウンロードできる。

今回するのは，2010 NSW州 championshipsのリストである。

TEAM FLYING

Team flying is not permitted in this competition.

チームでの飛行

本競技会でチームでの飛行は禁止である。

START PROCEDURE

The start will use allocated start points of 1km radius. Nine start points are available. The start points are shown in the turnpoint list together with their GPS coordinates. Each competition day, each pilot will be allocated three start points. Pilots must start from one of their allocated start points. The Organisers will broadcast the start gate opening time for each class on the CTAF and Start frequencies (126.7 and 122.9).

スタートの方法

スタートは半径1kmのあらかじめ配分された複数のスタート点を用いる。９個のスタートポイントが利用できる。スタートポイントはGPS座標と共に旋回点リストに示されている。競技の日ごとに，パイロット一人当たり３点のスタートポイントが配分される。パイロットは，配分されたスタートポイントのうちのどれか一つからスタートしなければならない。主催者はCTAFとstart周波数(126.7と122.9)でそれぞれのクラスについて（訳注：クラス分けあるの？）スタートゲートのオープン時刻を送信する。

THERMALLING AT START

Right hand turns must be used when thermalling within 15km of Narromine Aerodrome.

FINISH PROCEDURE

The finish line shall be the perimeter of a circle of 2km in radius centred on the Narromine Aerodrome co-ordinates. Finishes are to be in accordance with CAO 95.4 (ie not below 500 feet AGL) until within 5 kilometres of the finish line and must clear all obstacles by at least

50 feet. Pilots should finish from the direction of the last turnpoint or control point. Competitors are to advise Narromine Finish on the Finish Frequency (CTAF 126.7) when they are at 20 km and 10 km from the airfield. Make the usual radio call when entering a circuit to land. An intention to make a straight in approach should be called at 10km and 2km. Preferred runway direction will be provisionally nominated at briefing each day and confirmed or changed at the 10 km finish call. Landing in any direction gliders must stop short of the

runway intersections. Narromine Finish will close at last light or when all gliders are accounted for, whichever is the earlier. Any pilot conducting a low finish must have the necessary log book endorsement for low finish approval.

フィニッシュの方法

フィニッシュラインは，Narromine飛行場座標を中心とする半径2kmの円周である。フィニッシュはフィニッシュラインの5km 以内に到達するまでは，CAO 95.4(*)に従って(すなわち，500feet AGL以上で），かつ全ての障害物から 50feet以上の余裕を持って行わなければならない。最終旋回点または，最終コントロールポイントの方向からフィニッシュするべきである。競技参加者は空港から20km, 10km 時点でフィニッシュ周波数(CTAF 126.7)でNarromineにフィニッシュを通知しなければならない。場周に入るときには通常の無線コールを行うこと。ストレートインアプローチをする意図がある場合，10kmと2kmで無線コールを行うこと。望ましいrunway 方向は，毎日ブリーフィング時に仮に決定しておき，10kmのフィニッシュコールの際に確定，または変更される。どの方向から降りる場合においても，グライダーは滑走路のインターセクションより手前で止まらなければならない。Narromineのフィニッシュラインは，日没，または全てのグライダーが確認されたとき，のどちらか早い時点でクローズされ

る。低高度でのフィニッシュを行うパイロットは全て，ログブックに低高度フィニッシュの認定(endorsement)を持っている必要がある。

VERIFICATION

Verification will be by IGC approved loggers or Flarms. Competitors are expected to download their own flight data and submit an IGC file through the Joeyglide website. Motor gliders must have an FDR capable of recording altitude and engine run time.

照合

照合は，IGC認定のロガーかFlarmによる。競技者には，自分のフライトデータをダウンロードし，IGCファイルをJoeyglideのwebsiteを通じてアップロードすることが求められている。モータグライダーは，高度，およびエンジン動作時間を記録できるFDR(訳注: Flight Data Recorderだと思う)を装備していなくてはならない。
